Behind every great journey is a meaningful connection — and I’m proud to introduce one of mine: Shaynie O’Neill, founder of BEDOUIN DREAMeSCAPE, a tourism consultancy and community initiative dedicated to uplifting Bedouin-run travel experiences across Jordan.
Shaynie was born in Australia but found her spiritual home in Jordan — particularly in the southern desert regions where our Bedouin roots run deep. Her journey, shaped by love, adventure, and deep cultural respect, led her to create BEDOUIN DREAMeSCAPE — a platform supporting Bedouin tourism businesses while connecting them with conscious, curious travellers from around the world.
Our paths crossed in early 2023, and it quickly became clear that we shared the same vision: to create something more meaningful than traditional tourism. Together, we explored ways to expand my tour business internationally while developing our trusted network of Bedouin camps and homestays, defined by quality, authenticity, and care.
This network isn’t about exclusivity — it’s about excellence, fairness, and honouring the true spirit of the desert. It reflects a shared commitment to experiences that are personal, culturally grounded, and genuinely welcoming.
Today, Shaynie and I work closely across guest experience, camp development, and storytelling — ensuring that every journey we offer is handled with heart, respect, and cultural integrity from beginning to end.
Together, we are building bridges — between cultures, between travellers and hosts, and between Jordan’s landscapes and the people who bring them to life.
